Treatment against carpenter ants is extremely difficult because they spend most of their life in the wood, even after it had been made to furniture. They do not emerge, and it is difficult to capture and clogging the holes is not effective / unless absolutely blocking every hole with a syringe with insecticide / because they are rapidly building new passages and exits. To effectively deal with them, the use of insecticidal preparations with a residual effect is needed - in the form of preparation or spraying gas. Performing two treatments for 10 calendar days with specialized equipment is enough, so that the preparation can go to all hard to reach places. All premises remain closed for at least 4-5 hours.

Ordinary carpenter ants are extremely dangerous pest. The larva of this beetle destroys dry wood. Adult carpenter ants are 2.7-4.5 mm in length, do not eat, but only multiply. Carpenter ants attack only seasoned wood, with a high content of fresh wood and never attack live trees. The insect tree is identified by input-output round holes with a diameter of 1-1.5 mm.The life cycle of carpenter ants is 3-4 years.
